At Ring Artisan, every piece is precious to us, and we take great care to ensure it reaches you safely. This policy explains how we ship, the timeframes involved, and what to expect.
Where we ship
We deliver across South Africa and internationally. All deliveries are insured while in transit.
Shipping within South Africa
We ship using The Courier Guy, a secure and reliable courier service. Once your piece is ready and dispatched, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your delivery.
Delivery within South Africa typically takes 2–4 business days from dispatch, depending on your location.
Shipping is calculated and paid at checkout, based on your delivery address. The exact cost will be shown before you complete your order, so there are no surprises.
Insurance and high-value items
Our standard courier service is insured up to a value of R60,000 per shipment. If the value of your order exceeds R60,000, please contact us before completing your purchase so we can arrange suitably insured delivery and provide you with a quote. This ensures your piece is fully protected in transit, whatever its value.
International shipping
We are proud to send Ring Artisan pieces to clients around the world. International orders are shipped via a secure, insured courier.
International shipping is calculated and paid at checkout, based on your delivery destination. International delivery timeframes vary by country, typically 10–15 business days from dispatch.
Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the price of your order or shipping. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before ordering.
Dispatch times
For in-stock pieces, orders are usually dispatched within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation.
For bespoke and custom-made pieces, your item is dispatched once it has been completed and has passed our final quality check. Custom pieces typically take 4–6 weeks to create, depending on the design. We will keep you updated throughout, and arrange delivery or collection once your piece is ready.
Collection by appointment
If you would prefer to collect your piece in person, you are welcome to do so by appointment at our Stellenbosch studio. We will notify you as soon as your piece is ready and arrange a convenient time to suit you.
Safe delivery
For security, deliveries may require a signature on receipt. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for your parcel at the delivery address provided.
We are unable to take responsibility for items once they have been signed for and confirmed as delivered, so please provide a secure delivery address where someone will be present.
Incorrect or incomplete address
Please ensure your delivery details are correct and complete when ordering. Ring Artisan is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend it.
Delays beyond our control
While we do everything possible to deliver on time, occasional delays can occur due to courier disruptions, customs processing, load-shedding, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will always keep you informed and help resolve any delivery issue as quickly as possible.
Tracking your order
Once your order is dispatched, we will send your tracking details by email or WhatsApp so you can follow its journey. If you have any questions about your delivery, contact us at any time.
